Prolific Eventing: 7-09 October

It’s been a very exciting weekend, the BOKS did not win but they showed us why they will always be a major force in World rugby; to me, they at least won the match up, the rest is history!

My wife and I visited Waterland Lodge (off Constantia neck on the way to Houtbay) the past weekend to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary with a touch of pick and go events in between to make things interesting!
What can I say?

The weather was marvelous,

The people we visited at were great too!

The venue has quite a bit to offer and we networked well with the owners; I believe something good will come off our stay-over and I foresee a future re-visit.

Last year we had a delivery of outdoor umbrellas there and found this quint venue quite interesting which is ideal for small weddings, stay overs at the Lodge, conferencing and very soon a wellness boutique for the tired visitor; check them out on the web as they move close to the “local is lekka” theme for their ever growing visitor base.

Weekend’s report back:

The Dynamic Engen Cycling event – fantastic weather out at Wellington for x3 consecutive days which contributed to a huge success to cyclers and event organizers alike - Thanks to Suzi and Glynn and the whole team – not a single rental item was missing when we collected on Sunday afternoon; happy smiling faces is what we got when we left Nelson’s Creek!

Iron and Ink Event: Newly acquired stock (gazebo) was pitched for a biker stand at Plumstead, Timour Hall road and Villa; a new relationship was built with client and supplier!

Congratulations to Leza and Cobus who tied the knot under our outdoor umbrellas at an unknown venue at Swellendam; they sounded really made up when we received a call on mid-Sunday of early Monday morning picking up arrangement.

This week: What’s up?

An English lady to visit our office-studio on Tuesday (11 Oct) to inspect our display of Asian handheld umbrellas-provisional order or x60 is expected and we strive to bring them in within a turnaround time of 7-10 days

Events – mid October 2011

X10 outdoor umbrellas to a couple to wed out at Houtbay – midweek event

X20 trestle tables to event organisers at the Scarborough Community Centre - weekend

X2 Gazebos at a private affair  - Glen Beach; weekend

X3 umbrella to Sunset beach – private, weekend

Looks like we will be on call again for last minute bookings – but who is complaining?

Be savvy, enquire and book early to avoid disappointment!
